Elle Critical of Lindsay Lohan’s Professionalism?
August 13, 2009 by Arieanna
The New York Daily News, not the most reliable source, is reporting that the editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine UK, Lorraine Candy, is not happy with how Lindsay Lohan was during the shoot for this month’s cover spread. The interview itself does say that it was difficult to pin Lindsay down for the shoot (first agreeing to the shoot, then travel plans changing, then the shoot being cancelled, then delayed, plus Lindsay’s flighty / ADD personality etc), so perhaps this is true.
They report that Lindsay Lohan was late to arrive and had many delays during the shoot (all of which seems true, though the gossip makes it seem harsh). Upi cam see the end result of the shoot in the below behind-the-scenes video:
You can see scans of the magazine here and here. As the interview notes, no matter what drama led up to the shoot, “once she is there, she is good.”
In the interview with Elle, Lindsay Lohan talks about how lonely she is living the life of a celebrity. She often has no friends around her – just paid assistants – and flocks to crowds to appease her loneliness. Lindsay shares that she takes her notebook with her to vent – and release – her emotions when she needs to. Speaking of emotions, the article details a tearful confrontation between Lindsay & Sam at Bungalow 8. All of this is detailed in the magazine because the interview never took place – in the end, only a few questions were answered by email. The best part of the article is this:
“Lindsay Lohan is a contradiction. Most of the time, Lindsay is impossible to pin down. But in the moments you are together, you will see her strip down to her soul, exposing herself so completely that you are left in no doubt as to the type and intensity of every feeling running through her.
It is when she is asked the most direct questions that she is most elusive. She cannot be constant because she is ruled by the moment. It is frustrating. It is exhausting. But it is real.”
And, in the end, isn’t it this rawness what appeals to everyone about Lindsay?

I read the article and whilst the above is accurate, the interviewer appeared to be fond of Lindsay even commenting on her kindness when she (interviewer) had a problem with her dress. Lindsay offered to get her something to change into. There were a lot of positive aspects to the article but of course being Lindsay, the press will see what they want to see.
Another negative article about Lindsay.
While not perfect,her professionalism
is better than most of conceited people
in the entertainment business.
The thing that suprised me most about the article was the drinking. Not because I think there is anything wrong with it, but because she seems to be so adamant about her sobriety at other times.
when im be with u than u never feel alone & its true sometimes we feel alone but its a negative things which captured our mind so neglect these things & most improtant things is that hope over fear & learn from yesterday live for today & hope for tommorow & i saw the dream for u that will comes very shortly so be happy & make me happy because your happiness brings our happiness & imake everything constant all around u that my promise to u & dont worris be happy & iloveu
