Dina Lohan on Michael’s visit
Dina Lohan wrote to 24Sizzler about Michael Lohan’s visit with Lindsay:
“I’m so glad he’s visiting her… I really wanted her to have closure a really long time ago, so she could come to terms with the abusive behavior that myself and my children endured when they were younger.”
Dina adds that Lindsay, who hasn’t seen her dad in several years, was “extremely nervous” about seeing Michael.
The visit is not a casual visit, but more of a therapeutic session to deal with Lindsay’s issues with her father. In fact, today is not a normal day for visits, but Michael’s visit was accommodated. Dina says that going forward, Lindsay and her dad will take “baby steps” in developing a relationship, adding “Lindsay has to come to terms with it. It’s still her father, but you have to go through life and find closure.”….
As for Lindsay’s current state, Dina tells 24Sizzler.com, “She’s doing well. I’m so proud of her. She’s grown up.”…
Dina also shot down reports in this week’s celeb weeklies that Lindsay has a rehab romance. “Oh my God, yah right,” Dina said. “That never happened. Cirque is so strict compared to everywhere else.” Dina added that Cirque Lodge’s relatively remote location is ideal: “It’s gorgeous, it’s tranquil, it’s God’s Country.” Dina also shot down a report out this week that claimed Lindsay is her cashcow: “I don’t live off my daughter,” Dina said, laughing.
Dina did not go into specifics of how today’s meeting was set up, but a source close to Lindsay tells 24Sizzler.com that Michael was supposed to visit Lindsay last week, but it was cancelled, after an upset Lindsay read Michael’s hateful interview with Perez Hilton. “Lindsay was upset, and it really scared her,” the source tells 24Sizzler.com. Plus, says the source, Ali was upset with Michael’s comments to Perez, as well. “Ali went on YouTube and saw the interview with Perez, and she asked him how he [Michael] could do that. She thought it was disgusting. Ali doesn’t want to communicate with him at all.” As for Michael Jr., “He really despises his father. That means something, when a son doesn’t want to see his father. Michael [Jr.] wants no part of him at all. Dakota speaks with his father occasionally, though.”
Unfortunately for the younger kids, the court has ordered that they see their father. Bit of a different situation.
I am glad, though, that Lindsay is working towards closure of some kind.

Wow .. Quite a count of news about Lindsay these two days. I don’t know what to comment now, you guys go ahead first. Do you think michael’s going to change after seeing Lindsay ? I mean change to a better person, maybe he was just mad because they were avoiding him seeing Lindsay so he went crazy and did and said stupid things. On the other hand, maybe he too wants to make Lindsay, cash cow ? As Dina was accused ?

I guess this is for the better. It seems to me based on my very limited information that a lot of Lindsay issues have to do with her father. There is the tape the he played to some tabloid site where she is saying “Mom still loves you”. This was before the divorce was finalized. I guess one of the issues is to accept that this will not happen. He really seems to be envious of Lindsay success and that motivates him to do ugly things.

hasn’t paid a cent of child support,refuses to get a job because he is a ‘minister’ living off god,whatever

have i forgotten anything???oh,yeah,obviously the courts saw merit in slapping a restraining order on him after he publicly(in a bar)threatened to kill the whole family,o.j. style.nice guy,real nice!!!! i would say that in order to do ugly things,you must first be an ugly person,both in character and soul.i also find it positively hypocritical that he talks smack about his ex-wife and oldest daughter,yet he can’t travel without permission of his probation officer and the state,and has to wear a gps tracker on his ankle.what a piece of work!!!!!peace
