THANK YOU for these TERRIFIC, absolutely astute, well-said descriptions of the history of woes that Lindsay has suffered, both those of her own doing, and MORE IMPORTANTLY those which have been done TO HER — by the media, the press, the haters, the hate-machinery, the trashloids, and in general exactly ALL the sources of the never-ending stream of malicious rumors!!!!

And — by the way — none of us have ever denied the facts — it’s in acknowledging the facts — unhappy as they are sometimes — that we show our concern for our favorite actress.

I guess, semantically speaking, everything that is true is a fact, therefore neither a rumor nor malicious.

Everything ELSE, therefore — IS!

So — it has been our collective observation that, in the recent month or so, there is an ugly, growing disparity between the advent of new ‘malicious rumors’ and the actual facts surrounding Lindsay’s present situation. This has given rise to the increasing “disenchantment” amongst the fans here who, like myself, have observed that while Lindsay’s life has radically changed course, yet there are INDUSTRIES AND CONSUMERS WHO SEEM TO HAVE A VESTED INTEREST in perpetuating her image in the gutter of addiction. I would hope that you will understand our increasing willingness to disarm — even attack — those rumors — both those who initiate them and those who believe and proliferate them — including (if not ESPECIALLY!) in this post. So I would hope that helps you understand that, rather than ” … automatically discounting everything negative you hear about her” we are simply — but aggressively — challenging the negative — again, based on the above.

That having been said, I think you may have misunderstood the intention — “target”, if you will — of the quoted scripture. It is NOT directed at persons who express contrary opinions in this post. It is SPECIFICALLY directed at those who KNOWINGLY fabricate falsehoods for the purposes of generating revenue at Lindsay’s expense, and those
consumers who — thoughtlessly and uncritically — support and proliferate those who produce these lies by a) purchasing their products, and b) believing it and — worse — passing it on to others. I would hope that helps
you understand where that puts you in relation to the quoted scriptures.

All THAT having been said, I would be remiss if I did not tell you that, while obviously no one will or will not ” … get into Heaven simply because they think rumors about your beloved Lindsay may be correct? ” you must also know that neither will any one get into Heaven based on some relative index of being (or thinking they are) a “good person”. God’s Standard of Good is Himself, and NONE of us has ever met that standard EXCEPT ONE. Being God, Jesus sacrificially brought that Standard to us so that we could be included in it — but ONLY by virtue of His having brought it to us. It is for us to receive it from Him — or not.

You may be a “good person” — but what does that have to do with getting into Heaven?
“Getting into Heaven” depends ENTIRELY in trusting in GOD’S GOODNESS FOR US — not any so-called (relative) “goodness” we may feel we have to offer Him.

Lindsay — I hope — and PRAY — that you TOO are — or already HAVE! — come to know this for yourself!!!

Remember that He NEVER intended for us to live the life He gave us without His help and His Love — and I hope that you KNOW He Loves you — and all of us VERY MUCH! In fact, Jesus loved us to death! (literally) — and back (eternally!)

So — I’m not sure how long you have been following the “Lindsay saga” here, but a number of us “long-timers” have been closely following the multitudinous proliferation of ‘malicious rumors’ in the past year or so.

You are correct — as fans with some significant vested interest in the status of our favorite celebrity, we DO respond quickly and unambiguously to the development of any new rumor, as we wish to be informed as to whether we should — as you yourself have said — increase our concern to ” … offer support and prayers for Lindsay to actually recover, and want to recover …”, or should we simply relax in the knowledge that Lindsay is, in fact, quite removed from all elements of falsehood perpetrated by said rumors. Obviously we wish to resolve that issue as quickly as possible — I think you would understand.
