Did Lindsay Lohan Fail a Drug Test?

Oh no! I hope this isn’t true but it’s being reported that LiLo has failed a drug test while in rehab! Here’s what I read:
The “Mean Girls” star – who has been receiving treatment for drug and alcohol addiction at Utah’s Cirque Lodge for two months – was said to have completed her program last week but it has been claimed she was forced to stay on after testing positive for cocaine.
Insiders also alleged she has been drinking alcohol and mixing diet pills with prescription anti-anxiety medication in a bid to get high.
A source told Australia’s New Weekly magazine, “I think she’ll take whatever pills they allow her. It’s obvious to me she’s high because she acts loopy and can’t seem to walk in a straight line!”
Another insider said, “She had a friend sneak vodka in a water bottle into one of the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings she goes to. Everyone wants her to be their friend, so they’ll do anything for her. She smells like booze, and the staff do nothing about it.”
“I asked her if she had any intention of being sober and she looked at me like I was crazy. She’s still doing whatever she wants.”
Lindsay, 21, is due to serve the one-day jail sentence she received for her DUI (driving under the influence) conviction in May, and was scheduled to start shooting a movie in mid-October.
The actress’ father Michael Lohan joined her at the facility yesterday for a five-day retreat in the Utah mountains to rebuild their relationship.

Lindsay’s friend, you obviously support Lindsay and only want the best for her, which is apparent by your numerous posts. However, you are always the naysayer of these ‘malicious rumors’ which in the past were typically determined to be true. Unfortunately. I think that it would be better to offer support and prayers for Lindsay to actually recover, and want to recover, rather than automatically discounting everything negative you hear about her. I do agree with you that she should stay away from Hollywood.
anon — either I seemed to have missed something, or perhaps our frame of reference differs. Regarding “… these ‘malicious rumors’ which in the past were typically determined to be true” — if you are referring to rumors prior to Lindsay’s stay at Cirque I might agree with you — at least somewhat. However, it has been my observation that NONE of the absolutely malicious rumors that have come out since Lindsay has been at Cirque have been true — NOT ONE! Have I missed something here? Could you provide an example?

Actually NOT all of the Malicious Rumors have proved to be true, for instance the Perennial Rumor that She is Pregnant, that is Slander, and false and pops up over and over again, The Rumor that She is Broke, also not true, over and over again, and others, MADE up stories about Her to defame Her. MOST of the ” Rumors ” in fact are not true and have been PROVEN BEYOND a shadow or pervarication of a five year olds doubt of being even close to anything true. To insist that all the rumors or even MOST of them attributed to action or said things and done things by Lindsay Herself, are in fact true, when they are demostrably NOT!! is to persist in the Hatefull Lies that constantly attempt to undermine her sense of self worth and sense of direction, no wonder she took to drinking. Yes Jaime, She is capable of doing wrong, and HAS done wrong, but MY assertion is that She has NOT done ALL the # Wrong’s # that She ( Lindsay ) has been acused of, there is a very powerful ( though not as Powerful as my GOD, or I or my Friends ) and desperately willing group of people out to destroy her, for their own private reasons, who are constantly working up rumors on even the silghtest provocation of a hint that a rumor would fit there, on anything She does, or anywhere She Goes, or anyone with whom She is seen, This group has been working more or less by my deductive ability to percieve it, since She ( Lindsay ) starred in Freaky Friday. Yes that long. If before that I am unable to find any evidence of same. If I had any real HARD evidence of same, they would have ALL been brought up on charges long ago, but this particular group is really sneaky ( for lack of a better term ). But the results of same are real and destructive, and Lindsay herself, is not helping matters much by getting involved in the Addictions which have overcome Her. Makes it easier for the same set of detractors to work their evil. However Prayer is Powerful, believe it or not, so if you are one of Lindsay’s fans I urge you to Pray for her. As I do.

I don’t know what to think. But on though for Lindsay: What ever you do … don’t drive! That’s how they will be able to put you in jail. Otherwise it will be a lot harder…not impossible though.

Never did I say that all of the rumors were true. I indicated that in the past many of the rumors have been true. For instance, when Lindsay was found with cocaine in her possession. I am not arguing that everything that has ever been written about her is accurate. She is subject to the same difficulties everyone in the public eye must face.
I do, however, think it is disturbing how agitated you apparently become when people express their opinion on this site when it does not support your beliefs. Do you really think it is appropriate to quote anything from the bible or indicate someone will not get into Heaven simply because they think rumors about your beloved Lindsay may be correct? I know that I am a good person. I also believe that the other people on this site offering Lindsay support, or questioning her actions are also likely good people. To insinuate they are not because they think Lindsay does wrong is ridiculous.
Furthermore, my only point for the previous post was to suggest Lindsay’s fans not immediately discount negative things written about lindsay because they may be true. It is more important to support her, as opposed to judge her. It is crazy how ’super fans’ think that their celebrity can do no wrong. I bet the fans on Britney’s site are typing the same things about her, or have in the past. And no, I am not comparing her actions to Lindsay’s, however, wouldn’t you prefer she receive the help she needs befroe Hollywood affects her as negatively as it affected britney?
As for who I am. I am a young, educated female, and those close to me call me Bette. My guess is that you are a male, in your thirties. I am also guessing that you are too invested in obsessed with Lindsay to have a female companion of your own. Or if you do, she is likely concerned with your infactuation with Lindsay.

So — I’m not sure how long you have been following the “Lindsay saga” here, but a number of us “long-timers” have been closely following the multitudinous proliferation of ‘malicious rumors’ in the past year or so.
You are correct — as fans with some significant vested interest in the status of our favorite celebrity, we DO respond quickly and unambiguously to the development of any new rumor, as we wish to be informed as to whether we should — as you yourself have said — increase our concern to ” … offer support and prayers for Lindsay to actually recover, and want to recover …”, or should we simply relax in the knowledge that Lindsay is, in fact, quite removed from all elements of falsehood perpetrated by said rumors. Obviously we wish to resolve that issue as quickly as possible — I think you would understand.

So — it has been our collective observation that, in the recent month or so, there is an ugly, growing disparity between the advent of new ‘malicious rumors’ and the actual facts surrounding Lindsay’s present situation. This has given rise to the increasing “disenchantment” amongst the fans here who, like myself, have observed that while Lindsay’s life has radically changed course, yet there are INDUSTRIES AND CONSUMERS WHO SEEM TO HAVE A VESTED INTEREST in perpetuating her image in the gutter of addiction. I would hope that you will understand our increasing willingness to disarm — even attack — those rumors — both those who initiate them and those who believe and proliferate them — including (if not ESPECIALLY!) in this post. So I would hope that helps you understand that, rather than ” … automatically discounting everything negative you hear about her” we are simply — but aggressively — challenging the negative — again, based on the above.
That having been said, I think you may have misunderstood the intention — “target”, if you will — of the quoted scripture. It is NOT directed at persons who express contrary opinions in this post. It is SPECIFICALLY directed at those who KNOWINGLY fabricate falsehoods for the purposes of generating revenue at Lindsay’s expense, and those
consumers who — thoughtlessly and uncritically — support and proliferate those who produce these lies by a) purchasing their products, and b) believing it and — worse — passing it on to others. I would hope that helps

All THAT having been said, I would be remiss if I did not tell you that, while obviously no one will or will not ” … get into Heaven simply because they think rumors about your beloved Lindsay may be correct? ” you must also know that neither will any one get into Heaven based on some relative index of being (or thinking they are) a “good person”. God’s Standard of Good is Himself, and NONE of us has ever met that standard EXCEPT ONE. Being God, Jesus sacrificially brought that Standard to us so that we could be included in it — but ONLY by virtue of His having brought it to us. It is for us to receive it from Him — or not.
You may be a “good person” — but what does that have to do with getting into Heaven?
“Getting into Heaven” depends ENTIRELY in trusting in GOD’S GOODNESS FOR US — not any so-called (relative) “goodness” we may feel we have to offer Him.
Lindsay — I hope — and PRAY — that you TOO are — or already HAVE! — come to know this for yourself!!!
Remember that He NEVER intended for us to live the life He gave us without His help and His Love — and I hope that you KNOW He Loves you — and all of us VERY MUCH! In fact, Jesus loved us to death! (literally) — and back (eternally!)

Thank You Lindsay’s friend for understanding what I was saying in my comments, the Truth, is an accomplished fact, in some places I have stated that Lindsay MUST come to believe that she is IN FACT an Alcoholic !! Then only can She conquor it !! Which by also saying is admitting that our collective Fan-ness Admits by the very statement that we KNOW that She ( Lindsay ) has doen that which is wrong!! The arrest is incontrovertable, more proof if you will of Wrongness, etc. so we cannot help but believe that Lindsay has ” Done Wrong “, But instead of focusing on the wrong, and condemnation of same, we choose to support recovery !! Thank You Dave for that succinct and fewer words than I usually use to point out the Obvious, Yet again another b-b-b-bad to the bone rumor put to rest. How ” Many ” is that now ? I’ve lost count, 230 or is it 231 now ?? quite a few, somewhat more than ” Many ” i fear, proven wrong….would that mean that a very very very F-E-W of the rumors about Lindsay are true in some degree ?? Maybe one word out of a sentance here and there perhaps ?? Probably. But only about that much, now you know why I take exception the the use of the word ” Many ” as it seems harmless on the surface, but it’s import is in fact ” Implication “, which is what I take exception to.
