This video is very powerful and to know that Lindsay Lohan herself directed it is incredible. She did an amazing job conveying a powerful message. Also the resemblance with her sister is uncanny, I thought it was actually Lindsay doubling in with special effects. It’s great that she can still maintain such strong ties to her family. I think her family- her siblings, her mother are definitely not problems but sources of love and happiness in life. Who knows what her problems are, everyone has problems and blessings. Anyway, awesome job on the video.

This is probably my favorite video ever because I’ve always loved singing. It’s the only thing I can truely feel in my heart that inspires me in everything that I do. In fact whenever something is wrong, I use singing as a way to make things better… However, I was not blessed with a good voice… and to hear this song it really hit me close to home. My family isn’t perfect either and family is important to me. So, I guess I’m trying to say that this song means a lot to me because I know what a broken home feels like.. and I love my father too but… I dunno if he loves me back.

This music video has a very very powerful message. I wasn’t in the least bit a Lindsay fan until I the first time I saw this video, which was when I was getting ready for school. I ended up missing my bus because I was glued to the emotional voice inside of Lindsay. I really admire how she put so much of her feelings into this song after what she’s gone through. This video has really changed my perspective on Lindsay alltogether and captured my heart. I can’t say that I can directly relate to what she’s going through because I’ve never even met my father. I too don’t know my father but I still want to. All I have to say is that Lindsay is lucky to have the kind of father she has because to tell the truth, I would trade in my life and my dreams for a father. In her song, she says “Tell me the truth, did you ever love me?” Every father is going to love his daughter, no matter what happens and no matter how he may react to what happens. It’s called unconditional love. I give my props to her thought. And, Lindsay, he still loves you and he always will!

this video is so sooo powerful… just in those few minutes of the music video she portrays the way many families are for years. it’s so sad to watch her sister in it but very true. people who haven’t directly gone through what she shows would probably have trouble understanding, but i could watch this over and over again because it helps remind me that no child in a disfunctional family is alone.

Hey I thought Confesions of a broken heart video was awsum my girlfriend was crying at the end of it. I love Lindsay Lohan… well Im In Love with her. The video not only portrays her family life but her media life aswell. I have always loved Lindsay. When I heard this song I related to her in a way I never thought I would. I felt she was singing about my life and I still cry when I hear the song. She did a wonderful job portraying her message. She and her sister are absolutely beautiful.

I think this video was really good but also upsetting.When I watched it,it reminded me of my own life where my parents faught all the time and then one day my dad left.Most artist have family problems but she does have a LOT of guts to actually sing it to the world.Also when I saw it I thought she dyed her hair brown for the video when the girls in a ballerina costume but i realized shes shorter than Lindsay so I looked it up and it brought me to this site.Turns out her sister looks EXACTLY like her except for the hair.She has SUCH an amazing voice.WOOT!

someone veru close in my family committed suicide 3 weeks ago.. he left us with a broken family.. they have taken me in, i am apart of the family, and my boyfriend hasnt been the same since.. he left a 7 year old boy, he left a wife and a daughter that only just started school… ive never had a real family in my life, not a happy one, im only 16, but i know how she feels.

Well…I think that’s the best video I’ve ever seen. It almost made me cry. I mean, she had a very hard childhood and that’s a very sad story…now she’s not well and I’m afraid that something bad can happen to her if she doesn’t care so much about her health. Anyway, I hope she will be right =S.

Hey i read the previous comments and i found a few that were just plain rude and uncalled for. while im not a fan of lindsays work (she does a good job but its not my ’style’) i think its very inappropriate to pretty much abuse and slander her. No one has the right to do that to anyone, no matter who they are. Consider how you’d feel if the tables were turned.

i can relate to this song because i know who she feels in having a broken family… by farther use 2 threaten us with killing all our horses and animals, he use to bash my mom, and even kidnapped my younger brothers!!… me and my 3 bros and 3 sisters were only still young. tho i dont hav my farther there, he has been replaced with someone else and im soooo lucky 2 hav my step dad there instead. some of you’s dont actually no wat it is like, but those who hav actually gone thro the hurt of their farther bashing ur family, and the hurt of divorce, dont really no wat it feels like.. thos who do, you r never alone in it, just remember, their is some one out there who cares..

That was one of the only music video’s i have ever really enjoyed. I feel your pain Lindsay, i too, as well as many others im sure, have the same issues with their families. I think that the fact that Lindsay directed that and sang it with so much emotion, makes it the most incredible video clip in the history of music.

I’ve never imagined she had passed almost by the same way I had in my life, but she really needed him, I lived with my mother untill 4 months ago, when my father appeared again.
she is really strong because she is showing us her familiar conflicts and that’s not easy to understand, even though it can be as a therapy.
She’s so beautiful even she is very thin, I like much more how she looked at Rumors’ video, but she is still beautiful
