Chapter 27 US Premiere Dates

Chapter 27 is heading to a US theater near you! Peace Arch Entertainment has involved me in the promotion for the film, so I’ll be bringing you information about the promotions they have planned. So exciting! I have been looking forward to seeing Lindsay Lohan & Jared Leto on screen in this really important film.
Chapter 27 Plot: On December 8, 1980, Mark David Chapman astonished the world by killing John Lennon outside his New York apartment building. Motivated by delusions and an obsession with the fictional character Holden Caulfield in J.D. Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye, this messed up Beatles fan created a sad moment in history when his rage and delusions overcme him. Jared Leto stars as Chapman, Lindsay Lohan stars as Jude, a young fan that Chapman befriends.

Lets hope this is Great for Lindsay’s film carear and gets Her back on track with the Producers, Directors, and Casting Folks ! I’ve seen this movie at a film festival and Lindsay was great but the movie wasn’t all that special. Just so you know, don’t hope for something amazing, because this will never come. ;(
finally,i get some good news in regards to this long lost movie.i met miss Lohan in 2005 while she was shooting this film in new york,and really wanted to see it.but,unfortunately,the lunatic beatles die-hards have prevented this film from getting financing for promotion,distribution,and a premiere in america,until now!!get over it,people,its been 28 years.anyway,i want to know if it will get a regular release in theaters other than the premiere theaters,and when.also,will Lindsay and Jared Leto do the promotion circuit for this movie?now that Lindsay is brunette again,it would be great to see her on talk shows and making appearences to promote this movie.i always thought that Lindsay should have have gone back to red hair to promote Herbie Fully Loaded,as she has promoted all her other movies with the color hair she was in the film,just my opinion.anyway,looking forward to seeing this movie at last.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

I have seen this movie and it’s really not that good. Lindsay is good, as always but it get’s very boring over all.

Carl…you’re looking at this film from the wrong standpoint.i have not seen it,but i have read the script and some ‘pro’ reviews,and it is a character study of a deranged and madly obsessed fan of john lennon,from his perspective and,so,of course,it would only appeal to a certain demographic of movie fan.Lindsay,as Jude,is a side character,and only appears occasionally,i have read reviews that she is great in this film,and i want to see it for her,but i am also a fan of some of Letos wierd and quirky movies,and i read that he gained a lot of weight to play chapman.anyway,this movie is certainly not for everyone if you’re into crappy commercial movies,brainless action flicks,or a lot of the mind-numbing drivel put out by hollwierd to promote their latest crop of ‘plastics’,i.e.alba,fox,scarjo,simpson,and their ilk,but i like the indie movies and even mainstream movies that get a little off the reservation,except for a lot of that pretentious foreign crap.i like to be entertained,not preached at and politicized.on that note,that french chick,cotilliard,should give back her ‘oscar’ for a truly dreadful ‘film’,what a hack.whatever

This film is exactly what that pudgy piece of human debris who killed Lennon, wanted. To be famous. And you people talk about Lindsay Lohan’s role. this film is a waste of celluloid. And who cares about that pathetic alledged actress Lindsay.
Obviously Peter, you haven’t been reading this board lately, or you would KNOW who cares about Lindsay, I care, a lot. I have all but 2 of her movies, currently, and I plan at some time in the not too distant future to get her CD’s as well, as I don’t have an unlimited cash supply I can tap into right now, some things are higher priority than others. But nonetheless I care.

First I must say to you Peter, that if you think that it was the making of this film that made Chapman famous then you’re quite slow. He became famous the day he killed Lennon. As for Lindsay, I personally think she’s a spoiled brat that needs her career taken out from underneath her. She doesn’t appreciate the position she has been placed in and her roles should be given to those real actors that do know how to act. Looks only get you so far in this life. People who are going to see this film for her are really ridiculous and need to find a life.
Nice Try at hacking the web site here above commenter, but you fail. As for me I have all but Chapter 27 which I have NOT seen, and ” Bobby ” which I have seen, and didn’t like, Lindsay’s role in it was done to perfection, as was many other of her co-stars. The gripe I had with that film was that it was SOOOO fictionalized trying to fill in the ordinary lives of the little people who were just going about their ordinary business that I couldn’t relate to the movie, it actually made me a little angry, and I tossed it. and as for IKWKM, well, I will not buy that one, because I can not STAND to see Lindsay getting THAT hurt in a movie, because I love Her. As for getting a LIFE, well nothing would please me more, I’ll just go down to Sears tomorrow at the Mall here and order one. Of course it will have to come complete with Lindsay herself, nothing less than the best-est of the best will do. I’ve settled for second best all my life and where has it got me, Alone, Unloved, no Children, no Wife, bleak future, and as I am increadibly, terribly, brutally, long lived, I look down the future road of life, and think, 10 thousand years from now, I’ll still be pretty much just like this….Gack!!!! Not a good future to contemplate, so I want Lindsay in my Life, as my personal little ( spelled really really really BIG ) Miracle. She does a better job of ACTING than anyone other than the original Greats of Hollywood themselves, like John Wayne, and His Leading Ladies, She could have been their understudy !! for the Terrific job She does. !!!!! If She doesn’t make movies, that would be a true waste of the tremendous Talent, natural and practiced that She has !! But Lindsay is also very Intelligent, and Smart too, if She wanted a career in Science or Math, I would support Her in that Choice as well, as She could no doubt do same, and contribute to the fields of Study and Knowledge. Multi-Talented is our little Princess!!!!! A quintuple threat with a 100 watt Smile, and Flashing Intelligent alive eyes that bespeak volumes of a great character, and a great heart. This website says that “Chapter 27″ is due to open at E Street Cinema in May. The E Street Cinema staff denies any such scheduling. Why has this film been allowed to fall through the cracks just the way “Reservation Road” did?
