George Mitchell, president of the lab that helped develop the actor’s Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist, has issued a statement defending Lindsay Lohan and the lawsuit against their company, which alleges the formula was stolen.

“I am sorry to hear about the claims being made against Lorit, LLC regarding the Sevin Nyne product.

I have been involved in creating self-tanning products for over 12 years. When requested to help develop the formula for Sevin Nyne, I did so using my expertise and was not provided with any formulas or trade secrets by Lorit, LLC or anyone involved in or related to the Sevin Nyne product.

As everyone in the self tanning industry is aware, the combination of dihydroxyacetone and erythrulose are commonly used in all self-tanning products. There is nothing proprietary about the combination of those two items. Further, there is nothing proprietary with proprietary with regard to the fragrance used.”

I hope this whole legal mess is cleaned up quickly! I know a lot of people can be tempted to file suits against celebrities simply as a means to make a quick buck.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted arriving to Samantha Ronson’s house early this morning, at 3:30am, again trying to hide herself under a sweater.

You can see Lindsay arrive about 40 seconds into the video, though she desperately tries to stay hidden the whole time. At one point you can hear her tell the paparazzi “You destroy people’s lives!“

Lindsay Lohan started her day out yesterday wearing a black skull shirt, heading out to a beauty supply store. After a quick trip home, during which time Lindsay changed into the outfit we see here (cute jumper!!), Lindsay went to the Sunset-Doheny Office building. Lindsay was seen there with her diary, so perhaps it was a counseling session she was going to. Others report she was at the hospital for a check-up.

If you’re a longtime reader of this site, you’ll know I’m not big fan of Perez Hilton or of his gossip site. I think it is dirty and rude and don’t enjoy reading gossip always skewed to the negative or seeing pictures mutilated in the name of comedy. I know many people enjoy that kind of gossip, but I’m not one of them.

Perez has been receiving a lot of hate lately, including some from Lindsay Lohan herself. In an interview with EW, he admits he brings it on himself, but has no intention of changing his ways.

In his interview, he mentions Lindsay Lohan:

”If Lindsay Lohan were hospitalized tomorrow for exhaustion or dehydration again, I’d make fun of it. That’s what I do. And if she died later, I would genuinely be sad because I like Lindsay Lohan, even though she’s a mess.”

See, that’s where we differ. If I genuinely like someone, I’d never publicly mistreat them as he does. Going from doting on her every tweet to bashing her on his blog. I can’t handle that kind of treatment, and I’m surprised more celebs don’t shun his ‘attention.’ (Though many more have of late!)

Lindsay Lohan tried to be discreet when she returned to Samantha Ronson’s house last night, covering her face while a friend tried to lead her through the paparazzi. She looked gorgeous in the mini dress!

Unfortunately, Lindsay forgot her keys in the house earlier in the night and a locksmith had to be called, as you can see in the video below:

Lindsay was upset about having to pay the locksmith, though, since eventually her friend found a way into the house that was left open. She told the paparazzi about it, thinking she wasn’t on video at the time. I can understand a visit fee, but $300 to come and not even open the lock? Read more

Lindsay Lohan was photographed yesterday out for a day of shopping. Leaving Samantha Ronson’s house, she first went into E. Baldi for lunch. Next, she went to Garfield Pharmacy, where she was seen to buy a few DVDs. Later, she headed to Roseark to do some jewelry shopping!

There are news reports out today that Lindsay Lohan is being sued for her spray tanner, Sevin Nyne. Jennifer Sunday has filed a federal lawsuit with the US District Court in Tampa accusing Lindsay Lohan and Sevin Nyne co-creator Lorit Smith of breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations and deceptive and unfair trade practices.

Jennifer Sunday, a chemist, claims she had a deal with Lorit Simon’s company to develop a tan line, but refused to sell her secret formula of 11 herbs and spices to Lorit & Lindsay. She now claims those ingredients are the basis of Lindsay’s Sevin Nyne product.

“It was initially envisioned [Sunday] would manufacture the product and ship out the spray to Ms. Simon’s company,” plaintiff attorney Marcia Cohen tells E! News. “Now we see Ms. Lohan taking credit for having created Ms. Sunday’s formula and product.”

Lindsay Lohan has not yet released a public statement about the accusations, but she did respond to someone on Twitter saying:

“look-i wouldnt lie about something that i worked on with people for 3 1/2years-it works on every color skin, & works great. xo”

Update: Lindsay Lohan has posted again to her Twitter, slamming Perez Hilton reporting the claim with a negative spin (of course):

“Leave it to @perezhilton to put out FALSE information. No formula was stolen for Sevin Nyne. It’s a woman looking for a payday. That’s it!”

I hope this finally shows Lindsay that Perez is no fan of hers and that his constant praise of her on Twitter is just kissing up!
