A couple of weeks ago, news broke that Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, had been arrested in March for allegedly threatening to kill his fiancée, Erin Muller, and himself when she tried to dump him. When Michael later appeared in court, his lawyer pled “not guilty” and Michael told reporters that the whole thing was a misunderstanding.

On Tuesday, a New York judge agreed to postpone the case against Michael Lohan for one year. This “adjournment in contemplation of a dismissal” is based upon Michael Lohan not getting in trouble for the next year. If he stays out of trouble, likely the case will be dismissed.

Michael Lohan has previously served 2 years in jail for attempted assault and driving while intoxicated.

Lindsay Lohan went a little casual yesterday. Wearing a t-shirt and short shorts, paired with some nice blue boots, she was spotted going to Samantha Ronson’s house in LA.

The Mirror is reporting that Lindsay & Sam were seen holding hands in Heathrow yesterday. And, though it’s not even worth posting, Michael Lohan (Sr) thinks that Lindsay should accept the help from Dr. Drew - a doctor who Lindsay has never met, yet who thinks he knows all her problems. Michael Lohan surrendered for arrest on April 6th for allegedly threatening to kill his fiancée, Erin Muller, and himself when she tried to dump him. The police got word of an “altercation” that took place on March 18th when Michael allegedly called Erin Muller:

“He allegedly called Erin Muller on the telephone and stated in sum and substance that he would kill her and himself if Erin Muller left him,” says a spokesman for the Suffolk County D.A.

The whole thing was kept quiet until yesterday, when Michael Lohan went to court and photographers were waiting. Michael’s lawyer, shouting “Plan 2″, got Michael back into his car with Erin Muller. The lawer, Anthony Grandinette, appeared in court on his behalf. Michael pled “not guilty” to the misdemeanor charge of aggravated harassment. Michael told E! that he didn’t threaten to cause harm to Erin or himself and that Erin told the court she didn’t want to pursue anything.

The alleged threat comes just after Michael Lohan’s parole ended, on February 7th. Michael will return to court on June 10th for this charge. He is also currently in court for being $12,000 behind in child support payments.

I honestly don’t know if this piece of news is real or just plain old gossip. Michael Lohan told Wenn that he’d been contacted by the police about the break-in attempt at Lindsay’s home. And he’s pissed about the attempt, saying:

“I’m gonna find out who this person is and he’s gonna have major problems.”

I’m not sure if Lindsay wants his help in this way, though it is nice to see Michael standing up for his daughter in this way.

Michael believes that only people with “special connections” to his daughter would have known she was away from her home. However, we all knew she was gone. So does that make us special?

Lindsay Lohan & her mom Dina were spotted at the Lily Allen concert held last night in LA at the Wiltern Theater. Dina & Lindsay are not in any photos together, however. Dina was seen there with a friend, it looks like, while I have a photo of Lindsay being quickly ushered away in a car after the concert. Reportedly Lindsay, Dina and Lily Allen all headed off to Chateau Marmont after the concert.

Michael Lohan decided it was time for him to chime in again on Lindsay’s weight loss. Although his last rant about her weight prompted Ali Lohan to ask Michael to stop blogging, Michael went on Good Day Philadelphia to talk about Lindsay’s weight and career:

Although it’s been weeks since he started to notice Lindsay’s weight loss and to freak out about it, Michael says he’ll “talk to her about it”, implying that he and Lindsay are not on speaking terms at the moment. Michael admitted he’s not in touch with Lindsay as often as he’d like and blames that on Samantha Ronson.

“[Our relationship] has been a little strained because of her relationship with Samantha, but we do communicate.”

By communicate, does he mean ‘talk through the press’, I wonder? Michael also doesn’t seem happy that Lindsay goes out to support Samantha Ronson at DJing events:

“Well is Lindsay a DJ or is she an actress — that’s my question.”

Lindsay Lohan was spotted arriving in New York City late last night. She was picked up there by her sister Ali and mother Dina and was looking great (love the trench!)

Also, either someone hacked MichaelLohanOnline, or Michael has bad accounting practices. After posting his Final Blog drama piece, a new post went up today stating:

Reportedly Michael Lohan stopped blogging… but the supposed “Final Blog” post that he put up is now gone. So, does that mean it never existed? Or does it mean that Michael changed his mind about stopping? Update: the post is now back on his blog (though edited substantially)! You can read it here.

X17 republished the full text of a blog post that Michael had reportedly published on his relatively-new blog. The post was meant to be his “final blog” and an explanation of why he had started blogging and why he was stopping.

According to the supposed post, Ali Lohan had asked her father to stop blogging. His blog, like everything he’s ever done, was a part of his “love and concern” for his daughters. He leaves his last post with commentary about how one of Lindsay’s dear friends was thanking him for speaking out against Samantha and how he has no “bias” when it comes to sexual preference.

“What matters most is the substance of an individual rather than thier preference.It is the love and intent behind the relationship that matters. Something I can not give much credence to when it comes to Samantha.”

He gives his own “evidence” for these claims, but it’s not worth republishing here.

To the right is another photo of Lindsay Lohan & Samantha Ronson all smiles heading back from LAX. In other photo news, there’s a cute picture of Lindsay in plaid in January 29th, and the next day she looked fantastic at ESPN the Magazine’s NEXT Big Weekend 2009 Super Bowl Party in Tampa. That’s where Lindsay was before we saw her fly back in to LA this weekend. Once back in LA, there were some photos on the 31st of Lindsay outside Samantha’s house carrying some Red Bull.

Michael Lohan is freaking out about Lindsay Lohan’s weight too, among other things. It’s hard to decipher the overall argument of his rant aside from a Samantha Ronson hate-fest.

Michael Lohan seems to be blaming everything - weight included - on Samantha Ronson, though he spells it “SaMANtha” which I just cannot stand. No matter if you like someone or not, what right do you have to be so mean? Seriously. That’s just a low blow and it makes me angry.

Michael spends most of that blog post venting about Lindsay going with Sam to Boston but leaving Ali behind. What he didn’t know, probably, is that Lindsay was official host of that event. Most of the gossip sites “neglected” to fact check that.

Just look at the comments on the post and you’ll see how rants like this are being taken and how immature spellings of Samantha’s name are just that - immature.

I hope Michael realizes what damage - not what good - his blog will do to his family if he continues to use it as a platform for negativity.

Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s father, is currently in Park City, Utah, for the Sundance Film Festival. He and his fiance Errin Muller are there to host The Celebrity Poker Charity Tournament and to work on various charity missions.

Michael Lohan says that Ali Lohan is “hanging” with Lindsay in LA, and he’s happy they’re together. Of Lindsay, Michael says that his relationship with Lindsay is “stressed”, and blames that on Samantha Ronson. Michael does admit he’s made “inappropriate” comments about Sam, but says he’ll do whatever he can to protect his kids.
