CNN anchor Anderson Cooper appeared on The View as a guest co-host. However, he took to the pulpit and started really bashing Living Lohan, and has taken a lot of public criticism for doing so. He even referred to Ali Lohan as attempting to become a "striptease person" who "looks to be about 60."

Michael Lohan tells TV Guide that Ali Lohan was very hurt by the whole incident. Ali Lohan was at home sick with strep throat when the episode aired, and took the issue quite personally. Michael says of Anderson: "I’m surprised that he lowered himself to pick on a child and act like a child himself." Dina also talked to the press, saying that people are cruel and that it is "bad karma" for Anderson Cooper.

Well, Anderson Cooper did not apologize. In fact, when he came back on the air confronted with the issue, he continued to be critical. They are critical, in this instance, of Dina not addressing CNN, Anderson or even The View but, instead, taking her story to OK Magazine. Here’s his resopnse:

In the Season 1 Finale of Living Lohan, in the ninth episode entitled "Acting Up", Ali Lohan auditions for the movie Troll (which we wrote about here). Ali is definitely very green in acting, but her name will take her a long way in that industry. And the proof of that - Ali got the role. Despite thinking it was rather lame before going for the audition.

Other things in the episode: Cody and Nina (Michael Lohan Jr’s girlfriend) get into a bit of a fight, mostly because Cody isn’t getting time with his big brother. Ali calls Lindsay after she gets her part. And there’s lots of "filler" stuff in there (the gems of reality tv).

In the eighth episode of Living Lohan, entitled "Showgirls", Dina Lohan is "tricked" into performing a dance routine at the Pearl in the Palms Hotel, run by the Maloof brothers who own it and are recording Ali’s single. Too much of the first half of the episode was staged - accidentally meeting this choreographer for Ali, tossing in Dina’s "Rockette" history and then Cody "deciding" to surprise his mom with the opportunity to dance on stage. A dance that she, of course, "hadn’t" rehearsed.

Ali has Eman (Emanuel Kiriakou) writing her another single, to replace the one that Jeremy Greene was supposed to do - after he was fired, Eman came to the rescue. At the end of the episode, the recording is done and the Lohan family is ready to leave Vegas. Which is good, because there’s been too much Maloof product placement for my tastes, and much of the show seems too "staged" for a "reality" series. And there’s too much ego stuff - too much of them talking about how great Ali is and too much of everyone else saying so too.

Episode 7 of Living Lohan was entitled "The Billionaire Babysitters". In this episode, Jeremy Greene gets the cold shoulder from the Lohan women. As he should, after strutting around all arrogant and pimping his own crap before eventually getting around to producing with Ali. The whole thing would be funny in overblow proportions if it weren’t so crazy.

In this latest episode of Living Lohan, "Moving to Las Vegas", Ali finds out that there is more to being a success in music than simply being a Lohan. In order to record her album, the whole Lohan family moves to Las Vegas temporarily. There are definitely some promo pieces in there for certain Vegas properties, like the Palms owned by the Maloof’s (who are recording Ali’s album).

You can hear Ali recording the track, criticizing herself, and later complaining that she wasn’t able to spend time doing fun stuff in Vegas (not enjoying the music much yet?). Her singing is decent for her age, I think… well, you tell me! Check out the episode above.

The fifth episode of the Living Lohan reality series, entitled "Grandma Won’t Budge", involves the lovable Nana putting up a fuss when the Lohan family wants to move to Las Vegas so that Ali can record tracks for her new album. Sounds to me like Nana is still quite depressed about her husband passing away - I hope she gets some help and support. Another tidbit from the show: Michael Lohan Jr. and his girlfriend Nina resolve their fight.

Next week the episode will be in Las Vegas, and Michael Lohan Jr. won’t be there (nor will Nana). Sounds like it’s going to be very "sponsor-heavy".

The fourth episode of Living Lohan entitled "Like Mother, Like Daughter" aired last night on E! In this episode, Ali fights for a new dog, even after Dina has said no. I guess "Bossy" runs in the family? Ali wins the fight, of course.

From a photoshot to a dog magazine (with all 5 Lohan dogs) to a more formal introduction to Michael Lohan Jr, the episode brings us further into the Lohan family. For someone doing a reality television show, however, Dina does complain a little too much about the media invading her privacy.

This week’s episode of Living Lohan, entitled "Mean Girls", follows some of Ali Lohan’s troubles as she ascends into the Hollywood world of admiration… and hate. Growing up to be like Lindsay comes with a lot of criticism, and Ali gets it hard from her "friends." When the teasing comes to school, Dina ignores Cody, Michael Jr. & Nana’s suggestion to just ignore it an instead pulls Ali from school until the girls are suspended. We see Ali with her vocal coach, and finally using national tv to tell off the mean friends at school.

There was no Michael Lohan commentary for this episode of Living Lohan. Perhaps he’s rethought that decision?

The second episode of Dina & Ali’s E! reality series, Living Lohan, was on last night. The episode, entitled "Burning Down the House," has Ali & Dina talking with / confronting Jeremy Greene about his interviews. He’ll be a regular on the show, as he’s producing a track for Ali. Also in this episode, while Dina is at a magazine launch, the Lohan kids come home to a house on fire - an electrical issue sparked it.
