Dina Lohan and youngest daughter Ali Lohan attended the Charlotte Russe Fall 2009 launch event at Openhouse Gallery on July 15, 2009 in New York City.

Aside from the height from her heels, it looks like Ali went through a bit of a growth spurt. She’s so tall now! In this candid video from last night, Lindsay was seen spending her evening at the Palms Restaurant, followed by a visit to the Tropicana Pool Bar in Hollywood. Lookin’ good Lindsay!

Meanwhile, Lindsay had a few interesting things to say on her Twitter account. The first was a compliment to little sister Aliana:

“My sister is AMAZING! A girl is being mean to her and said something vulgar- “you’re sister’s the celeb, not you, you dumb b!t*h”

My sister responded with, “wow. you clearly need to seek help.” I LOVE YOU ALIANA be the bigger person. Name calling is mean. I miss you”

Later, Lindsay had some interesting things to say about lies and how, being her “father’s daughter”, she takes lying hard.

“being lied to after being my father’s daughter…. is miserable, especially when you’re finally back on track. miss u mommy thanks s********”

She continued, in response to someone talking about giving chances to people you want to trust,

“if someone u took a chance on loving-after 3.4.5.7.8.9 times.lied to you tonight..what would u do? even though u love them..?”

After going home to change yesterday morning, Lindsay Lohan left her own home with Ali Lohan and her friend to head out to the Right On Programs center in Glendale where Lindsay takes her substance abuse classes:

Lindsay Lohan and Ali Lohan made a quick return from Paris, after being there only a very short time. Since Lindsay’s house was broken into (or at least it may have been), it’s possible that Lindsay had to rush back to check things out. Though that must be disappointing, considering how long the flight is!

Lindsay says that Ali Lohan has been back in the studio, shares her love for Eminem, Adam Levine, Adam Lambert (of American Idol) and Beyonce’s new movie. Lindsay Lohan and sister Ali Lohan were spotted on May 13th enjoying the view from their fantastic hotel balcony in Paris, each sister fussing with her hair while out there. The girls had a great view of a PETA protest that was demonstrating in the courtyard in front of their hotel.

Despite what looks like a great trip in Paris, and with the Cannes Film Festival just kicking off, you’d think that Lindsay & Ali were settled for some time. Not so! One of the photo agencies has released pictures of Lindsay & Ali back in LA! Now, they’ve marked their photos as exclusive (grr), so I can’t post them, but I’ll be looking for more video / photos to confirm! Read more

Lindsay Lohan and little sister Ali Lohan were spotted out in Malibu on Saturday for some shopping and lunch. The sisters went shopping at the Malibu Country Mart and the Madison store and ate at one of Lindsay’s fave places, Taverna Tony:

With all of the time that Ali Lohan has been spending with her older sister Lindsay - going to events, to Hawaii, to parties - and the story that Lindsay is bad for Ali, Dina has been getting a lot of criticism for her parenting skills. Dina is fighting back, with a statement to People:

“I am a single mom of four children, and I devote my life to my children.”

Dina reconfirms that Ali is in a home-schooling program, the very same one that Lindsay was in during her 10th grade and the filming of Mean Girls. Ali began having difficulty at school during the filming of Living Lohan, which is not difficult to believe in. There’s a lot of pressure with being a Lohan!

Dina restates that Lindsay’s not just about clubbing these days. She says Lindsay is “working hard” on her music, her fashion line and everything. Ali has been there to support her, which I have no objections to. I think it’s great that the Lohan girls can be so close. Dina wishes people would just leave their family alone.

Another piece of news! Lindsay sold 100,000 units of her Sevin Nyne spray tanner in ONE DAY at Sephora! That’s amazing!

Lindsay Lohan and Ali Lohan tried to keep a low profile as they left Chateau Marmont last night in a chauffer-driven car.

However, when they arrived home later that night, the girls decided to be a little mischievous. The paparazzi were being a little annoying, even taking video over the fence, so the girls fought back. Though we don’t have them fighting on video, the paparazzi show us all the broken eggs on the cars and around where they were filming.

I’ve hesitated to publish this post, but I thought I’d take my normal tactic and just report the news with an alternate perspective. The NY Daily News has up a post asking if Lindsay is a “hazard to sister Ali Lohan’s health.”

Ali Lohan, 15-years-old, who is being home schooled now, has spent her days and nights of late hanging out with Lindsay, taking trips to Hawaii, and going shopping. The article cites “experts” who say that Lindsay’s behavior may be harmful to Ali:

“If you have an older child who is breaking a lot of the rules and engaging in dangerous and risky behavior, this can have a negative impact on the younger child,” said Dr. Eva Ritvo, psychiatrist and vice chair of psychiatry at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Though this may be true, I’d love to know what in Lindsay’s life of the past year they’re referring to. Because I think Ali can see that Lindsay is a different person now and should be proud of how Lindsay has improved herself. I don’t think that going to clubs with friends or having issues with her weight (which may still be stress, we don’t know) could be seen as Lindsay being irresponsible as a role model for Ali.

The experts fear that Ali may either try to follow in Lindsay’s rebellious footsteps or she may become a “caretaker”, protecting her sister. Although Ali Lohan wants to be an actress and musician, this doesn’t mean she’s doomed to make Lindsay’s mistakes. What do you think? I think it’s great that the sisters have such a close bond! Enough said.

And I found an account on Twitter that may or may not belong to Ali (twitter.com/alilohan). It sounds like it could be, but her social media skills would be better than Lindsay’s, whose account is still set to private.
