After the vicious attack on Lindsay Lohan by Brandon Davis with La Lohan nemesis Paris Hilton howling away in the background, many believed Lindsay would come back strong with a reaction.

She has yet to comment, but the teen starlet has done one better – she’s hanging out with Hilton ex Stavros Niarchos and it appears the two are a bit of an item.

Well – at least as much as one can be with the very busy Lindsay.

People Magazine takes a look and confirms:

Lindsay Lohan and Stavros Niarchos were first spied together five days before he and Paris Hilton broke up last month. Now it’s clear that was just the beginning of a beautiful friendship, PEOPLE reports in its new issue.

Lohan, 19, and Niarchos, 21, were spotted kissing on May 15 at the Manhattan nightclub Butter. The next evening, they partied together at Bungalow 8 until 3 a.m., and on May 17 they caught an Elefant concert at Webster Hall before meeting friends at Bungalow 8 once again.

Movie mogul HARVEY WEINSTEIN predicts actress LINDSAY LOHAN will win an Oscar at next year’s (07) Academy Awards.
Weinstein believes the 19-year-old, who has roles in both A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION and the upcoming ROBERT KENNEDY saga BOBBY, could wage two Academy Award campaigns this year (06).
Weinstein, whose company is distributing Bobby, tells MTV, "She’s fantastic, and a big reason for getting me involved.
"This is going to be a stand-out performance this year for Lindsay, absolutely.
"She’s a doll and a brilliant girl. People don’t know that side of her; they just see (her) going out. If I was 19 and had that much – well, I went out way more than Lindsay Lohan, but no one was around to catch me." Via Pr-Inside

Feuding Hollywood socialites Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan may have buried the hatchet Wednesday night, after Lohan bravely confronted the hotel heiress at club Hyde in L.A., according to a published report.

Hilton was sitting at the VIP table with her sister Nicky, Courtney Love, and other friends at the L.A. hot spot, when Paris’ arch enemy Lohan walked through the door. A source says that Lindsay roamed the club at first, as if she was searching for a friend, but since the VIP section is so small, Lindsay had no choice but to either leave, or face Paris once and for all.

The source tells Star magazine, "She was moping around, looking like she didn’t know what to do."

"Then she finally just came over. And then she sat down right next to Nicky!"

The girls sat there in shock while Lindsay just started talking to them!

"She starts saying, ‘Hey guys, what’s going on.’ Like nothing ever happened!"

The bemused Paris grinned politely, but she didn’t utter one word.

"What could she say? It was so weird, it was kind of interesting to sit there and see what Lindsay would do. She actually looked kind of scared! But she’s the one who decided to seat herself at Paris’ table."

Lindsay eventually leaned over to Nicky and said, "You know, I never saw the video, so, you know, I’m not mad."

Star scoops, ‘The names Brandon Davis and Stavros Niarchos never came up in conversation — clearly the ladies had decided just to let it go. But Lindsay never spoke Paris before Hilton got up to leave, sometime around midnight. "She was shooting a music video the next morning, so it was an early night, anyway."’ Via The Post Chronicle

* I hear you cut your leg in a nasty accident?
It’s not just a cut – I have a hairline fracture in my foot. I was coming out of the shower when I slipped and fell. The bad thing is I couldn’t wear heels for the premiere. It’s really ironic because when we were shooting in New York I twisted my ankle and the film’s called ‘Just My Luck.’

* So besides being a bit clumsy have you ever had a streak of bad luck like your character?
If I did, then I don’t know about it. But you have to go through highs and lows in life to kind of learn to appreciate things, just my character Ashley Albright in the film.

* Do you have any good luck charms?
I have my sister and this bracelet that I’m wearing. Bree Turner, my co-star in ‘Just My Luck’, also got me a really nice ring that I keep as a good luck charm.

* So you bonded with your co-stars?
Yeah we did – we actually wrote music. We should do a DVD special on that.

* Was ‘Just My Luck’ your chance to get to a broader audience?
Yeah. I mean it’s kind of like a coming of age thing for me. I mean you can only act as if you’re in high school for so long. It was the perfect movie for me, because it’s not too dark so I can still keep the fan base that I’ve grown with. And I get to kiss Chris Pine!

* Did you get to pick the guy you would have to kiss?
We got to look through all these pictures. There was this one guy who looked like Josh Burger from ‘Sex And The City’ – I liked that. I was told just to pick one!

* How did it go shooting the kissing scene in the park?
It was uncomfortable because we were shooting in Central Park, and all these kids started lining up. I’m standing there jogging next to this guy, and all of a sudden I’m supposed to attack the guy and start kissing him. I thought I can’t do that – I felt so uncomfortable! I actually got to the point where I said can
I just kiss him on his cheek and make it look like I’m kissing him?

* But you did snog him in the end?
I had too! I needed to kiss him to get my luck back!

* I guess you wouldn’t want to use a double for the kissing scenes but did you have one for any of the stunts?
I did have a stunt double, but I ended up doing them all. There is this particular scene where I’m in stilettos and waxing a floor at a bowling alley – everybody on set was really afraid I would hurt myself and tried to convince me not to do it – but I ended up doing it.

* There is a lot of slapstick comedy in this film. Do you know it’s going to be funny when you’re filming it?
Well if I’m going to walk into a glass wall, I’d hope that people will laugh. When we were shooting my favourite scene – the one with the washer dryer – I started coming out in this rash. I just broke out in hives all over from the soap.

* You really seem to dive into your films head on.
I feel like if I’m gonna go for it, then I’m gonna go for it! At first it’s always nerve wracking, and then once you get comfortable with it you realize you want to make it as funny as I possibly. This is the first time I really did a lot of physical comedy. And I really enjoyed it.

* What other projects have you got coming up?
I have my life planned for the next two years. I start shooting another film in two weeks and I’m going to tour the festivals to promote ‘Bobby’. I’m also going to Paris to photograph the fashion designer Karl Lagerfield.

* Karl Lagerfield? How did that come about?
Well photography has been a hobby of mine for a while and he just shot me for an interview, as Clara Bow and as Elizabeth Taylor so I’m returning the favour and going to shoot him for an interview. I don’t want to give too much detail away! Karl’s a genius, and I love the things that he does.

* So you actually interviewed him? What is it like to be on the other side?
It was scary interviewing my friend. I just kept the tape recorder rolling, and it ended up being a great interview – I got everything they needed. I felt really bad putting someone on the spot like that. But he was great.

* You mentioned a film called ‘Bobby’. Can you tell us a little bit more?
Emilio Estevez wrote and directed it and it’s about the assassination of Robert Kennedy. My character Diane is based on a lady Emilio met in a motel lobby. Basically he had writer’s block and decided to escape to Pismo Beach. When he checked into this hotel the woman behind the counter noticed him. She said ‘can I ask what you’re doing here? It’s a random place for you to come’. And he said ‘I’m writing a movie’ and she goes ‘well can I ask what it’s about or is it some big Hollywood secret?’ And he said ‘no, it’s about the assassination of Bobby Kennedy’. Apparently she grabbed the desk, and put her head down, and when she looked up she was crying and said ‘I was there’. This woman married probably three or four men that she’d known in her life, so they didn’t have to go to Vietnam, which was completely inappropriate at the time. Women didn’t have the right to say what they felt, it’s not like it is now. I have some great scenes in it – the movie’s beautiful.

* Was it hard to get into the film given that it happened before you were alive?
No. It was a great thing for me to do. My sister was on the set a few times because she was actually learning about the assassination in school at the time. She came to visit me and stayed with me for a few weeks and she learned so much just being there.

* Who are most of your scenes with?
I do most of my scenes with Sharon Stone, William H. Macy, Elijah Wood but I know that Demi Moore, Anthony Hopkins and I are promoting it. That’s an honour.

* You’re on a bit of a roll with the assassination films. You’re also starring alongside Jared Leto in ‘Chapter 27’ about John Lennon’s assassin Mark Chapman.
I was really nervous about agreeing to star in ‘Chapter 27’ it’s a very touchy subject and John Lennon is a legend. I wanted to get the ok from Yoko Ono first so I had a few talks with her before agreeing to anything. Nobody wanted me to do the movie, I did get death threats and everything, but the director and I believed in the film. I’ve seen half the movie and I’ve never see anything like it. I love my character in the movie she’s a genuine fan of John Lennon and Yoko Ono – she’s like the Hitchcock blonde, although I’m not blonde in the film. And Jarrett Schaeffer’s a great director, and he’s doing a great job with it.

* What were your first impressions of Yoko?
I nearly died. I walked in and we were wearing almost the same thing, I swear to God. We were both wearing all black, because I was like I need to wear something that Yoko would wear. She was so sweet, and just amazing in the things that she had to say. Just the things that she’s done are wonderful.

* It has been rumoured that you were dating Yoko’s son Sean Lennon.
I’m just friends with Sean, we did a music video together and write things together.

* Who spreads these sorts of rumours about you?
If you can find out let me know. According to the tabloids all I do is go out to clubs – even with a sprained ankle! The fact is drama sells so people are gonna keep making up stories about me. If I’ve dated as many men as they say I have, then I’d be dead by now. Honestly, I would. In this industry, you want to be written about to an extent but you’re putting yourself in a position where people are gonna put you on a pedestal, and sometimes they build you up to try to take you down, but that teaches you to work harder, and then it becomes what I love to do. When I was four years old, I didn’t say, I want to be written about as going to Bungalow 8 every night, and showing up to set late. You live and you learn.

* One rumour I’ve heard is that you can work out anywhere. Is that true?
That is something I do, and people think I’m a little bit crazy for it. I just drop and do push ups and leg lifts. Because they said I have really skinny arms once I like doing push ups but my brother used to make fun of me because I couldn’t do them.

* How many do you do at a time?
As many as I can. I’m pretty good, though!

Are they girl push ups?

No!

Are they one armed?

No, but I have to do them one leg right now because of my ankle. When we were doing ‘Herbie’ Justin Long would get hyped up in a scene by dropping and doing press ups. I’d be like ‘what are you doing? We know that you have muscles, great!’

* So when you’re not in clubs or working out what do you like to get up too?
I spend as much time as I can with my friends and when I’m in New York it’s great, because I get to spend time with me sister. She make’s me happy whenever I’m with her. She’s gonna play a younger me in a movie, so that she’ll be able to be with me.

* What film?
‘Veronica Decides to Die.’

* Do you prefer doing independent films more now?
I think it’s just those are the projects that have caught my eye. And the characters are so different than anything I’ve done. I play this girl who was molested by her stepfather, and Gary Marshall’s doing it – it’s a dark comedy. I feel like people will always be judgmental, but it’s nice to play different people and kind of go into more mature roles as I grow.

* You just finished filming your first independent film ‘Prairie Home Companion’. Why did you decide to agree to that film?
Would you turn down a movie that Robert Altman was directing and Meryl Streep was playing your mother in? Even while I was still filming ‘Just My Luck,’ we had started talking about ‘Prairie Home Companion’. I wasn’t aware of exactly what it was but my grandmother explained it to me. Then I heard Meryl Streep’s name and then I heard Michelle Pfeiffer at one point, and then it finally just came together one day and they said okay, we’re making the movie, and they want you to be Meryl Streep’s daughter in it.
My role kind of got bigger as we went along because I became friends with Garrison Keillor. I would see the most unbelievable actors actors coming on set every day it was a wonderful experience for me as my first independent film. It also appealed to me because I had to sing live. It’s just one of those movies that will be nice to have to look back on, it’s an amazing kind of monumental film in its own way.

* How was it singing in front of that amazing cast?
I was definitely nervous. On that day everybody just happened to have to be there at the side of the stage, and I had only rehearsed that song I think three times and they kept changing it. Robert Altman obviously has a way of incorporating comedy and the darker side in films. It’s kind of a creepy movie in its own way, but it’s still really funny.

* What was your relationship like with Meryl?
More of a friend relationship rather than maternal, she had her own daughters there all the time. The whole cast went to dinner every single night so we got really close, we were like a big family.

* You ticked another first of your list recently when you presented Saturday Night Live. How was that?
I loved it. I plan to do it once a year. The only slight problem I had was just before the show when I decided I needed to go and get a fake tan because I felt a bit pale. Lorne Michaels was like you’re not leaving I don’t know if you’re coming back. So he sent for someone to come in and give me a fake tan. So this woman shows up and gives me a paper set of underpants to put on and she takes out this whole set up and sprayed me all over. Just before the show she told me ‘it’s about to get darker’. I was like ‘what do you mean, how much darker is it gonna get in next hour and a half? It’s live, you know!’ So we did the dress rehearsal and at the end Lorne comes up to me and goes, ‘you know, we’re wondering if you could do something about the tan, you’re looking a little orange. I was like ‘you’re the one who sent her here!’ I was so terrified. But then it washed off really nicely.  Via Pr-Inside

Poor Lindsay Lohan!

Lindsay Lohan has revealed that one of her best friends passed away while she was filming yet another film ‘Bobby’.

The film revolves around the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy; as Lindsay was shooting the film, an old friend was dying from meningitis.

The young film star was forced between continuing with the film or visiting her friend on her death bed.

According to MTV, Lindsay spoke about her friend saying: "Our families are best friends and she was like a cousin, so you can imagine,"

"I was on the phone with her parents every single night, and just before she died, I wanted to fly back to see her so badly."

However, director Emilio Estevez had only 30 days in which to shoot the majority of the film at a central location a factor that Lindsay could not get round in her bid to visit her friend.

 Lindsay was busy filming an important ‘shooting’ scene the day her friend passed away, she said: "Even though no one else died (at Bobby’s assassination), a number of other people were shot as well,"

"So I had to stay and shoot it. My friend ended up passing away that same day, so the scene is really personal for me. It was the most tragic one I’ve ever had to do and required the most acting.

“Other roles I’ve had didn’t require as much acting, because my character was closer to my own age and experience. This time, I had to go to that darker place and use that for my work."

‘Bobby’ is scheduled for release later this year. Via Entertainmentwise
