Alleged Lindsay Lohan Therapy Info
Splash News has out what they consider to be a true "insider" report of Lindsay Lohan’s therapy sessions at Promises. Now, those things should be guarded completely, so don’t trust what you read below.
The report claims that Lindsay Lohan is opening up about her "damaging" relationships and her "insecurity" about her friends.
“She’s admitted that most of her problems stem from the men in her life, specifically her father Michael” an insider told Star magazine. “He hasn’t been there for her. She knows her problems with her father transfer to her problems with her boyfriends [and] that she tries to keep relationships sexual so they won’t get too intimate. Then she feels lonely.”
Lindsay, 20, has also told people that “She needs alcohol to go out and be social. She thinks it’s hard to make friends in L.A and she needs a few drinks to loosen up, [she is] uncomfortable most of the time when she’s out partying and the alcohol eases her anxiety.
The "news" also states that Lindsay Lohan is only picking at her food, making the staff concerned about her eating habits.

it is utterly despicable that someone shared confidential and private group session material with a tabloid internet site,if this is a true account.while i question the truth and motives of splash news,there was a story a couple of weeks back that another “inside”scource was spilling the beans that Lindsay was not participating in group sessions and had hired a sobriety coach.if any of this info is true,would you even question why Linds would not be too keen on group therapy?EVERYBODY is selling her out,parents,friends,media,fellow actors-how could she trust anyone under those circumstances?this alleged therapy info is somewhat general and could be created by anyone who has read all of her magazine interviews and television chatfests.since neither Lindsay or her publicist have made any statements or comments regarding her personal issues,i will take this “story” with a freakin’ huge shaker of salt!!! splash news is like star magazine on crack,a broken lightbulb of “truth”.i’ll wait to see if Lindsay says anything about rehab in future interviews.until then, the hater media can go play in traffic.i must say one thing though;movie stars of old hollywood had another quality that i see lacking in 99% of celebrities,including miss Lohan to some extent:mystery.stars back then kept a lot of their secrets,dirty laundry,and off-screen life,to themselves and it added to their mystique,even when they had public blow-outs like Lindsay,and they didn’t reveal their sordid messes,just kept going.i hope that Lindsay turns the mess around,recovers her reputation in the industry,and becomes the great screen legend she is destined to be.i don’t want to know all the details and private anguish,just that she is a fighter and will rise like a red-haired phoenix from the ashes of the tabloid villany and scum.it is always a good thing to have an air of mystery,and it keeps the true fans enthralled and looking forward to the next great role or performance.i am a true fan in that i do want this fabuLLous performer to one day walk up on that podium,hold that golden statue,and take her place with the greats of hollywood.peace

any logical person with half a brain and a good imagination,having read all her interviews and knowing a few things about from the public record and the media rumormill,could add up all the “facts”,throw in a little salt,and voila,the ‘INSIDE STORY ONLY IN STAR’.PUH-LEEZE,yawn,wake me when tom cruise renounces scientology and makes travolta,in drag,drink the blood of L ron hubbard.(or when cruise,the great actor,wins an oscar,lol,or that fatass michael moore loses 250 lbs and drinks a beer with pres.bush) i was watching leno the other night,and he says:pres.bush got a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt ,driving in his pickup,in crawford,texas.and you know what the worst part was?dick cheney was riding shotgun!!! LOL,a little humor to even out the negativity of the haters.keep a smile on that pretty face,Lindsay,and,in time,the haters will go away.happy 21st b’day.peace

this does seem kind of true with out even this article..its plain obvious about the boyfriend and alcohol problems…i hope she gets better and battles her addictions!!

It’s probably true, but I don’t buy that it’s someone blabbing about it. It isn’t that hard to deduct from interviews and a little common sense. As long as she gets better and she gets to talk about whatever emotional things she’s going through good for her.
Lots of young people (we can legally drink from the age of 16 in my country) have these issues and you know what; most of them grow out of it at some point - without any problems really.

Hey all — “bowman” had already put something on this in ‘Lindsay Lohan candids” — so I made a response there (Arieanna — maybe you could move that response to here?).
Anyway, Dave has added some good points — it’s SO EASY for anybody to contrive a fabricated piece of trash that “sounds” like the old trash we used to see about Lindsay — and apparently get it published in the trash magazines with no questions or accountability (yeah right, accountability in those rags!).
But think about it — you don’t see a whole lot in the trash magazines — especially not a lot of NEW - *TRUE* stuff (if you ever see any “true” stuff at all — and that purely by coincidence) — about other more “settled” celebrities — just the same old blips and blurbs — re-ASSembled and regurgitated ad infinitum, ad nauseum.
So what I’m getting at is, Lindsay has moved on — she’s moving further out of range of the trash paper mill!! Yes!! And — I know this may sound funny — because we know that Lindsay is anything but boring — but to those trash mills — I hope she turns around so good that there is absolutely NOTHING of interest to those magazines . In short — Lindsay will become SO GOOD that she is completely (I really hate to associate this word with Lindsay, but …) “… boring” to those bottom-feeding haters — may they NEVER find anything to feed on again! Starve!! — you poop-palettes. Can I get a big, “Amen!” on that , guys? Yes! :-)

To bebe and private, maybe it is true (we never know what’s true or not anyways) - but OUR point is, Lindsay, DID not, WILL not, NEVER will, HAVE not, IS not opening up to therapy sessions in Promises!!!!
She hired this guy - sobriety coach (2000 dollars) to express her emotions to. Okay?!

Hey Elizabeth - I agree with you, but maybe I wasn’t clear enough - She could have all those emotions and concerns, but I agree she would never tell anybody whom she would think would tell. I’m just saying it’s pretty easy to say that she has those feelings without actually knowing anything about it - just from reading different articles and interviews ans then twisting them a little. I don’t for a second believe this anonymous source.
And to Lindsay’s friend - I hope she becomes “boring” too. Now we just need to make her parents extremely “boring” :)

I have been asking people if Lindsay has said anything like this before. So far People have said Lindsay has said she was “lonely” …before. But she has explained why she has gone out and why she drinks.
If its true …Im guessing some one at these “sessions” is an informant.

Yeah I mean come on this story is 100 per cent rubbish. There is CONFIDENTIALITY agreement signed when you check into rehab that no staffers or patients will tell anyone about your therapy. The staffer would be sacked if they did that. Anyway Im calling this story 100 per cent false. Peace and Love xox GOOD LUCK IN UR RECOVERY LINDS!
