Lindsay Lohan’s Weekend in Videos

It’s been a busy weekend for Lindsay: rumors of breaking up with Samantha Ronson, of being on the outs with the Ronson family, and all that. I have a whole bunch of new candid videos, that may shed some light on some of the rumors about what Lindsay has been up to this weekend.

Let’s start with the “big night”, which supposedly ended up with Lindsay moving to Chateau Marmont. To start off with, this video shows Lindsay leaving the hotel at 3:32am, going to McDonald’s, and being hounded by the paparazzi about the breakup rumors and the locksmith Samantha got. Poor Lindsay.

When they asked if Lindsay & Sam broke up, Lindsay told them “it’s none of your business”. She goes on to say “I love Samantha, not Charlotte. Charlotte’s not nice to me,” perhaps in reference to being banned from Charlotte’s party. Read more

The photoshoot is playful, just like Lindsay. The mask reminds me a bit of the Harper’s shoot, but also is very appropriate for Lindsay. The first picture of Lindsay giving the finger and biting her tongue is cute!

Lindsay Lohan’s interivew, as you can read in the above scans, indicates that Lindsay had pneumonia at the time of the shoot – but braved through it. Lindsay talks about wanting to get back to work and finding a film that can show what she can do.

Brittany Murphy to replace Lohan in ‘Poor Things’?

We’ve all been wondering about the status of Lindsay Lohan’s movies – the two she was supposed to star in were ‘Poor Things’ and ‘Dare to Love Me’. She was doing some intense training for the latter film after she came out of rehab, but the filming just never seemed to start.

Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Brittany Murphy is looking to take over Lindsay Lohan’s role in ”Poor Things." Negotiations have not yet begun, but the fate of Lindsay in the film does not look good. There were reports that she had been dropped from the film, and reports that she had not. It now looks like Lindsay was dropped from the film back in May.

I have no update for ‘Dare to Love Me.’

Lindsay Lohan “Dare to Love Me”

Lindsay Lohan was to be announced for an upcoming major film role in "Dare to Love Me" – but that could now be in jeopardy after her latest DUI charge. No word yet on how that charge also affects "Poor Things".

Right now, e! is reporting that Lindsay Lohan has lost her part in "Poor Things" and someone else will be cast for the role – but they may be wrong on their facts. Also, producers must now scramble to figure out how to promote "I Know Who Killed Me", which comes out this Friday, without Lindsay Lohan. She won’t be able to keep her press engagements anymore.

Here is some info about "Dare to Love Me" – and the tango lessons Lindsay is already taking!

An official announcement is expected this week for Lohan to costar in the new romance Dare to Love Me, sources close to the film confirm. It’s the story of Tango legend Carlos Gardel, who was involved in a steamy romance with a prostitute, only to have his world shattered by a bullet that kills her and leaves him crippled with a fragment in his lung for life.

The movie is set in Buenos Aires in the 1920s and centers on Gardel and the mysterious woman.

No word on Lohan’s exact role in the film, but sources say she began taking tango lessons Friday for an hour a day – all while wearing the alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet she’s had on her leg since emerging from rehab on July 13.

LATEST: Studio bosses have denied reports LINDSAY LOHAN’s next film role has been cancelled because producers are concerned about the star’s post-rehab partying. Lohan was released from Promises rehab centre in Malibu, California on 13 July (07) and was spotted out with pals in Las Vegas just days later. But producer ROBERT HICKMAN insists speculation the movie, Poor Things, has been cancelled is false. He says, "The film has not been cancelled. Any rumours saying differently are just that – rumours."

Lindsay Lohan’s “Poor Things” Cancelled

Lindsay Lohan was to soon start filming "Poor Things" alongside Shirley MacClaine, but the movie has now been cancelled.

Early reports by Page Six were blaming it all on Lindsay Lohan and saying this was the end of her career, but this news has been refuted. Earlier claims:

ut last week, product vendors including GE and Dell computers, who had been promised placement in the movie in exchange for cash, got a disturbing e-mail from set designer Fontaine Beauchamp Hebb.

Hebb’s e-mail, with the subject line: " ‘Poor Things’ has been cancelled," said, "Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but I just received a call from Jacky Gilardi, the producer, pulling the plug on the ill-fated film.

"Apparently, Ms. Lohan’s antics in Las Vegas over the weekend have scared the bond companies and all of the funding has been pulled . . . I look forward to working together in the future and trust our next project will not be as fraught with difficulty."

The insurers were said to worry that Lohan, despite wearing an alcohol-monitoring device around her ankle and claiming to take daily drug tests, had gone out clubbing with pals. (Ironically, the plot of "Poor Things" involves two women who befriend and then murder homeless men to collect their life insurance.)

Despite their wild accusations, it was clear even in their piece that Lindsay was not to blame.

Lindsay Lohan will go to Marina Del Rey

Lindsay Lohan will be, at some point, leaving Promises rehab for the Marriott hotel in Marina Del Rey. Olympia Dukakis and Shirley MacLaine are already staying at the hotel while filming "Poor Things", the movie Lindsay Lohan will soon join them on.

"Olympia and Shirley already have rooms here. They’ve been here for several weeks, while Lindsay’s been in rehab, just rehearsing," an insider at the hotel reveals to E! Online’s Planet Gossip Vine show cohost Tina Dirmann. "Now, they’re waiting for her arrival."

Meanwhile, the veteran actresses have also been keeping track of their youngest costar’s problems, catching up on all the news reports of Lindsay’s wild partying ways prerehab—and on her decision to go into rehab just days before the actresses were to begin filming their black comedy flick, based on the true story of two women who married and murdered a string of homeless men after taking out life insurance policies on them.

"They are both well aware of Lindsay’s problems and are just waiting as patiently as they can for her to recover and start working," Dirmann’s source reveals. "It’s funny, because this has all meant they’ve also read a lot on all the other troubled Young Hollywood starlets and how crazy they all seem. They are particularly interested in Nicole Richie too, because she’s Lionel’s daughter. And they both know Lionel. But honestly, they don’t seem to think anything they’ve read is any worse than what happened to young stars of their day."

Olympia even playfully dubbed Lindsay, Paris, Britney and Nicole "the newest brat pack."

Still, Lindsay may already be trying the patience of her new costars by opting to extend her stay at Promises, pushing filming back even further.

"Plans are to film around her as much as possible," the source added. "What else can they do? So far, there are a lot of crew members for the movie still up at the hotel, working from their rooms, doing as much as possible without Lindsay." (Calls to the production company for confirmation were not returned.)

Major scenes for the movie will be filmed from the hotel’s Glow bar, and a helicopter landing pad from the hotel’s rooftop—with Lindsay currently scripted to appear in both.

Lindsay Lohan to remain in “Poor Things”

Thankfully, Lindsay Lohan has gained the support of the producers and crew of the new movie scheduled to begin filming today "Poor Things"

The producers of Lindsay Lohan’s next film, Poor Things, plan to keep her on the cast and will juggle the shooting schedule to accommodate her rehabilitation stint, they told PEOPLE on Wednesday.

"We have been asked by Lindsay to comply with her wishes to continue working on Poor Things," producers Rob Hickman and Shirley MacLaine, who will also star in the dark comedy, say in a statement. "We are trying to rearrange the shooting schedule to facilitate her working at the end of the shoot to coincide with the completion of her rehabilitation. We wish her love and the blending of mind, body and spirit."

Filming was scheduled to begin Thursday in Los Angeles. The film is based on the true story of two women who murder homeless men and then cash in on their life insurance policies.

The statement from the Poor Things producers offered the first assurance that Lohan’s career will remain on track despite her problems on and off movie sets.

Lohan admitted herself on Memorial Day to what her rep called "an intensive medical rehabilitation facility" after she was cited for DUI.

The producer of Lohan’s current movie, Georgia Rule, had famously scolded her in a letter for missing work last summer. The film’s director, Garry Marshall, later said he was the one who requested the reprimand.

I am glad she’s getting more support this time around.

Lindsay Lohan bombing her career?

TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan may have to remove herself from a new movie that is just about to start filming because of her arrest and consequent trip to rehab – and that raises the question – is Lindsay Lohan ruining her career? Is she high risk for any movie to sign?

According to the report, Lindsay Lohan was signed on to do a movie called "Poor Things", something we didn’t even hear in rumors before, starting on Thursday, but may have to pull out. And the movie stars legendary actress Shirley MacLaine!!

Did Lindsay Lohan throw away the chance to work with screen legend Shirley MacLaine after her weekend bust on suspicion of DUI? Is she quickly becoming the female equivalent of the former Robert Downey, Jr., i.e., an instant liability on film sets because of her crazy antics?

TMZ is told that "Poor Things" — a crime caper about a granny gang starring MacLaine and Olympia Dukakis — is set to begin shooting with Lohan on Thursday, with three weeks of location filming in Los Angeles. Lohan’s court date on the DUI charge isn’t until August, so that won’t matter, but if she’s checking into rehab, as has been reported, she clearly won’t be around to work.

So far, the film’s production company, Still Rolling Productions, tells the trades that the shoot won’t be affected. No studio is yet attached, and calls to Lohan’s people and MacLaine’s reps haven’t been returned.

But the bigger question is whether the drinking and drug problems are killing Lohan’s career, making her uninsurable for films that studios and investors pour millions of dollars into — because she’s proven to be so erratic. One source tells TMZ that Lohan should be an absolute angel on the "Poor Things" shoot if she doesn’t want to further jeopardize her career, and a film insurance executive tells TMZ that he would have to think "very, very hard" before insuring Lohan because she’s become such "a loose cannon."
