Lindsay Pays a Visit to Samantha

After her night at Cecconi’s, Lindsay Lohan drove her now-damaged Maserati over to ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s house. At first Samantha wasn’t there, but when she showed up, the girls reportedly spent the rest of the night together:

Lindsay was seen carrying a notebook with “Dakota Moss Lola” on it; Dakota Moss was the name that Lindsay’s alter-ego had in the movie I Know Who Killed Me. Lola is Lindsay’s name from Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen – so, perhaps a movie notebook then?

Lindsay Lohan Defended

Vanessa Williams spoke up, after the news of Lindsay’s shortened Ugly Betty arc and the gossip that she was inappropriate on set. Vanessa Williams has nothing but good things to say about Lindsay.

“She was a hard worker, she showed up on time and [in] the scenes I had with her, she was completely prepared,” Vanessa tells ET. “She was great with me.”

Fellow b5 writer Tom also asks – was this all a publicity stunt? Did the episode last night seem too much like what’s going on in the news?

Regardless of whether it was a publicity stunt or not, things are a little rock for Lindsay on the acting front. She has not been pushing out the roles as much as in the past, and one insider says Lindsay is not currently shortlisted for new acting roles right now.

The issue, they say, is not whether or not Lindsay will show up to set or not. It’s that she’s not drawing people to movies any longer. Which I think is just crap – the huge following Lindsay has should be proof that she’s a draw still. And that the success of films like I Know Who Killed Me did much better with her attached to them than they would have otherwise.

Another insider says:

“Every project she’s had has fallen through. She’s not even filling up her time with independent films, which is usually the strategy when work gets slow. She’s a good actress, she’s just stuck right now.”

Lindsay Lohan defends ‘I Know Who Killed Me’

After receiving 2 personal Razzie nominations, and a total of 9 for ‘I Know Who Killed Me’, Lindsay Lohan is speaking in defence of her movie.

Lindsay says she doesn’t deserve that kind of criticism and that the movie was "the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life.” She says playing a schizophrenic was draining (inadvertently ending the debate on whether Dakota was real or not).

“I couldn’t believe the emotional range that [Chris Siverston] got out of me. I thought the role was too difficult for me but he helped me to give a performance I didn’t think I was capable of."

Lindsay is, as she should be, proud of her work. And if you haven’t seen it yet – buy it now on DVD!

Lindsay Lohan leads Razzies Nominations

January 21, 2008 by Arieanna
Filed under Gossip, Movie News, News

Lindsay Lohan is leading the Razzies nominations for "Worst Actress" of 2007 and "I Know Who Killed Me" for 9 nominations, including worst picture of 2007.

"`I Know Who Killed Me’ is the most fabulously brainless movie since `Showgirls,’" which Razzie voters picked as the worst movie of the 1990s, Wilson said. "By the end of it, you still don’t know what happened. Are they twins or aren’t they? Did she imagine it? Can I please have my hour and 50 minutes back?"

I Know Who Killed Me was nominated also for 2007’s Worst Picture, Worst Horror Movie, Worst Screenplay, Worst Remake/Rip-Off, Worst Director and two Worst Actress (because Lindsay Lohan plays 2 people) nominations.

The Razzies (the Golden Raspberry) each year spoof the "best of" Hollywood as represented by the Oscars. The nominations and winners are decided by poll.

Lindsay in Top 20 Under 25

December 6, 2007 by Arieanna

Forbes has published its annual "20 Under 25: The Top-Earning Young Superstars" list and Lindsay Lohan has ranked on the list at #18

  1. LeBron James, $27 million
  2. Reggie Bush, $24 million
  3. Maria Sharapova, $23 million
  4. Michelle Wie, $19 million
  5. Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen, $17 million each
  6. Daniel Radcliffe, $15 million
  7. Hilary Duff, $12 million
  8. Avril Lavigne, $12 million
  9. Carmelo Anthony, $10 million
  10. Keira Knightley, $9 million
  11. Carrie Underwood, $7 million
  12. Scarlett Johansson, $5 million
  13. Mischa Barton, $4.5 million
  14. Dakota Fanning, $4 million
  15. Emma Watson, $4 million
  16. Rupert Grint, $4 million
  17. Miley Cyrus, $3.5 million
  18. Lindsay Lohan, $3.5 million
  19. Mandy Moore, $3.5 million
  20. Frankie Muniz, $3 million

It’s interesting to see that the top earners are not super movie stars, but rather sports stars.

Here’s what they have to say about Lindsay:

Born: July 2, 1986
Too bad starlets don’t get paid per headline. Despite a slew of legal and on-set troubles, La Lohan squeezed in two films, Georgia Rule and I Know Who Killed Me, both box office duds, during our time frame. She also booked print campaigns for Jill Stuart and Miu Miu, as well as appearance fees before being sidelined by her third stint in rehab this year. Dogged by speculation about her insurability, and a lousy box office track record for her last four major releases, Lohan’s commercial viability is in serious doubt.

Lindsay Lohan ‘Dumbest’ in Hollywood?

December 3, 2007 by Arieanna

The NY Daily News has proclaimed Lindsay Lohan as the Dumbest in Hollywood in their Top 50 Dumbest People in Hollywood list.

Dumb doesn’t necessarily correspond to a low IQ. There are poor life choices, style slipups and mishaps under the influence to take into account.

Lindsay Lohan was voted ‘unscientifically’ to be Dumbest because of "poor movie choices ("I Know Who Killed Me"), delinquent behavior and bad taste in men"

Top 50 Dumbest People in Hollywood

  1. Lindsay Lohan
  2. Kim Kardashian
  3. Spencer Pratt
  4. Jeff Kwatinetz
  5. Shia LaBeof
  6. Heidi Montag
  7. Jessica Simpson
  8. Kiefer Sutherland
  9. Tori Spelling
  10. Rumer Willis
  11. Nick Hogan
  12. Courntey Love
  13. JR Rotem
  14. Britney Spears
  15. Brad Garrett
  16. Ken Paves
  17. Jennifer Love-Hewitt
  18. Brad Womack
  19. Michael Jackson
  20. Cash Warren…

And it goes on – but how could they put Lindsay Lohan at the top of that list when Britney Spears clearly falls into the "what they hell were you thinking?" category on so many more accounts! And Paris Hilton is nowhere on the list?!
