Well, now, this is just silly. Miley Cyrus, the "Hannah Montana" Disney star, has been banned from ever hanging out with Lindsay Lohan. Why – because she’s a ‘bad influence.’

The National Enquirer reports that the two girls of Disney past and present met at the Academy Awards on Sunday (24/02/08) and hit it off. Hoping to stay in touch, the Mean Girls star offered her number to Miley.

However, the 15-year olds parents Biley Ray and Tish Cyrus forced their daughter to delete Lindsay’s digits from her phone, fearing that the rehabbed 21-year old would set a bad example and lead their angelic child off the tracks.

Do you think that’s true? I didn’t even think Lindsay was here for the Academy Awards.

Little sister Aliana Lohan is inspired by Lindsay. Ali has lived in the spotlight that has been shining on Lindsay Lohan for most of her life. And now, Ali is also persuing those dreams.

Ali Lohan talked to Teen Vogue for their April 2008 edition, and says:

“I grew up watching Lindsay. It made me want to do what she does. Just the whole vibe. Being there, being on camera, or onstage, with everybody listening to you … it’s so cool when people look up to you. I’ve already been asked for my autograph and it’s just a really good feeling to have."

Ali Lohan has been working on a new album, and is also persuing work in acting and fashion design. Ali Lohan will soon be seen on tv with her mom, Dina, in their new reality series for E! – the series looks at Ali Lohan’s new acting career and album.

"It’s not all that fake stuff," says Ali. "It’s just what we do in our everyday life."

With the passion of youth, Ali Lohan is inspired to do it all:

"[I want these things] really bad, so bad. So bad you don’t even know."

Hugh Hefner offered Lindsay Lohan the opportunity to do a shoot for Playboy.

So, will she do it? Should she do it? Will it get her positive attention, or negative?

Paper Magazine has published an excerpt of their interview with Lindsay Lohan on their website, along with some outtakes from the photoshoot that appeared in the March 2008 edition. The interview was conducted with Lindsay right before Lindsay went to the Cloverfield premiere, so about mid-January.

Lindsay Lohan had just come off a cake binge, having baked a Duncan Hines Angel Food cake and frosted it the night before. Lindsay says she is very ready to get back to work – to find strong characters and roles:

"Right now I just want to find a great script, a great role," says Lohan with palpable urgency in her voice. "I was so used to working and working and working, and for a good few months there was nothing for me to do. Now I know what it’s like to be an out-of-work actor, and how much it scares me."

And later, has this to say about directors taking a "chance" on her:

"I am what I am. They either want to take a chance or they don’t, is how I see it."

Lindsay talks about everything going on her her life and how she used partying as a way to hide from it all.

"I hadn’t seen my dad; I had a lot of work stress ’cause I was constantly working and never took time to stop. Everything was go-go-go, and the easiest thing was to run away from it, going out and drinking at night. You know, you don’t have to think when you let go sometimes. But I didn’t realize it was getting in the way of my work — what I’ve worked for my whole life."

Fear and safety are things that play out in the themes of Lindsay’s life. Like dealing with the paparazzi – dome days, just dealing with them is a job in itself. Lindsay has come to a lot of truths in her life – sitting in rehab, she had a lot of time to think about herself and her life. Lindsay says that recocniling with her father was good for her whole family.

Jeremy Scott, who photographed the spread, has this to say of Lindsay:

"To me, Lindsay is the most postmodern actress there is," says her good friend Scott, "because she’s got all these little bits and pieces of great actresses that have come before her… You could liken her to Elizabeth Taylor in that sense: someone who started very young, and it’s all still unfolding. There’s so much that’s going to come from her that we haven’t seen."
